Robotics Cub Scout Badge January 7th 1-4p.m.

For the Robotics Badge, Cub Scouts will design their own interactive Lego Robots using the Lego WeDo system and then program their robots using drag-and-drop software. Scouts will also build LEGO models featuring working motors and sensors, then program their creations. Scouts must pre-register. Program is limited to 16 children per session (minimum of 8). $12/Scout (includes museum admission & Badge).

 

Intro to 3D Printing for Cub and Boy Scouts

Friday, February 3rd 5-7p.m.

Saturday, March 11th 2-4p.m.

Learn about 3D printing and 3D modeling. Use 3D modeling software and create a model to print out. Try your creative hand at our 3D pens! Ages 9+. Scouts must pre-register.  Program is limited to 12 children per session (minimum of 8). $15/Scout (includes museum admission & Badge).

 

PAYMENT AND REGISTRATION FORM ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE REGISTRATION.

Call the Children’s Museum (570-389-9206) to prepay and reserve your Scout’s spot.

Cancellation: If you cancel no less than two weeks prior to the class, you will receive a 50% refund to cover processing fees. No refund will be given if you cancel within two weeks of the class date.

 

Snow Policy: If weather conditions are poor and the museum is forced to close, parents will be notified by 8am that morning. A make-up class will be offered or full refund will be given.

 

Adult and sibling policy: If attending as a troop, 2 adults may stay with the groups of 8 or more at no charge, 1 adult may stay with groups of 4-7 at no charge. Additional adults must pay regular museum admission. Siblings of students attending the class must also pay museum admission.
