 EXPECTING PARENTS RESOURCE CLASSES

This FREE monthly class, held each Third Tuesday 5:30-6:30p.m., is led by experienced childbirth educator and doula, Virginia Rivenbark, covers a range of topics like writing a birth plan, breastfeeding resources, preventing baby blues and more! Enjoy refreshments and meet other expecting parents. Spaces are limited, please RSVP by emailing preparingforbirthandbeyond@yahoo.com or calling the museum.

Music Together® Family Classes

This internationally recognized early childhood music and movement program is led by certified music teacher, Kerry Kenny.  Music Together® stimulates a love for music, movement, and learning in children ages newborn to kindergarten and the adults who love them. Wiggling, singing, and laughing with your child is so much fun—it’s easy to forget how much learning is taking place!  Music CD & Songbook included. 8 class sessions run from Friday, Sept. 29th to Nov. 17th at 10:15 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. Registration required.

PRESCHOOL DISCOVERY DAYS

This monthly Saturday morning program is a whole lot of fun for your little ones ages 3-5. Hands-on activities exploring rotating themes are available on a walk-in basis, while supplies last. Free with regular admission.

FAIRS & OFF SITE Programs

 Edible Book Contest

Saturday, July 29th 10-1p.m.

Children and adults can enter their Edible Book creations to win up to $100 restaurant gift cards. Plus, win cash for your local library. Celebrate your favorite book characters, food, and creativity!  Bloomsburg area’s finest Edible Books will be on display 10-1p.m. Activities and book-themed refreshments provided.

ROBOTS! At Rohrbach’s Farm

Tuesday, June 27th

2 sessions: 10am and 11am

Fun for all ages – learn about robots. Program Lego WeDo, run a battle bot, make a recycled robot, play robot games, pretend to be a robot, and much more. Arts, crafts, games, experiments – ROBOTS!

Denise Bosworth of Rohrbach’s Farm will be our special guest at the museum to help you get hands-on with a favorite ripe, red summer fruit. Activities and crafts for all ages. Free with admission.

“May the Force Be With You” Day

Saturday, July 15th 10:30-2p.m. *Members Only Preview: 10-10:30am*

Meet and take pictures with professional Star Wars characters, make your own lightsaber, enjoy new games, crafts, food vendors. Plus dunk-a-trooper, jedi obstacle course, blast-a-trooper and new games and crafts for this year’s event. $1 off admission if you wear Star Wars t-shirt or costume!


Touch- A-Truck

Saturday August 5th 10-noon

Join us at the museum for a fun-filled day with trucks of all kinds. Get an up-close, hands-on look at loaders, go-karts, tractors, fire engines, and more! Reduced admission is only $5.
