Maker Camp- What Can You Make?

Join RTI and the Defense STEM Education Consortium for this NEW Maker Camp! TIES operates a STEM-on-the-GO Mobile Digital Fabrication/Machining Van which is coming to the Bloomsburg Children’s Museum for a week-long summer camp!
During the van’s visit to the Museum, the students will be engaged in solving real-world STEM challenges using the Engineering Design Process while learning how to use design software and the digital fabrication and machining equipment in the van. During this camp, students will create their own mandalas and use them to create a lantern they will also design and manufacture their own stop rockets.
The Van is a Ford E450 box van equipped with Digital Fabrication and Machining equipment. Including a laser cutter, 3D printer, CNC router, band saw, MIG welder, lathe, grinder, and other hand tools.
