In Blueprints in the Branches: Treehouse Design Camp\, campers will design and build their very own model treehouses while learning the basics of architecture\, engineering\, and creative problem-solving. \nThroughout the week\, participants will explore how real treehouses are planned and constructed — from sketching blueprints and choosing materials to understanding balance\, stability\, and structure. Campers will experiment with different design elements like ladders\, pulley systems\, lookout decks\, and hidden rooms\, bringing their imaginative ideas to life in 3D model form. \n*Please note that this camp will be hosted at The Bloomsburg Children’s Museum Discovery Corner. This is at Mulberry Mills Apartments at 160 W. 6th Street.*

Ceramics Summer Camp \nJuly 22-24th & July 27-28th; 10-1:00 p.m. \nAges 6+ \nRegister Online: https://bit.ly/bcm-ceramics26 \n \nIn this 5-day clay camp with Miss Gail\, campers will explore their creativity while learning the basics of working with stoneware clay. Each participant will design and craft a personal\, one-of-a-kind tile using foundational clay-building techniques. They’ll bring their tile to life with vibrant colors and paint\, discovering how texture\, shape\, and design come together to create a lasting piece of art. Perfect for young artists who love to get their hands dirty and express themselves through clay! Ages 6+. \nThis class will run from Wednesday\, July 22nd through Friday\, July 24th and then Monday\, July 27th through Tuesday\, July 28th. Miss Gail will fire the pieces over the weekend for campers \nMeet Miss Gail! \nMiss Gail has been making art since she was a little kid! She grew up surrounded by creative people—her grandfather was a painter\, and she loved spending time with him learning about his work. Miss Gail has tried lots of different kinds of art\, like sewing\, woodworking\, and painting\, but she fell in love with working with clay. Now\, she has her own art studio in the mountains where she makes beautiful pottery and mosaics. She loves helping kids explore their creativity and can’t wait to make clay art with you this summer!
