Each month\, students explore the science\, mechanics\, and creativity behind Nerf technology. \nParticipants complete two guided projects: a spring mod with the Nerf HotShock and an electronic mod—both blasters provided. Afterward\, students can customize their own blasters and design parts using CAD software. \nThe club blends STEM learning with real engineering—covering energy transfer\, circuitry\, and rapid prototyping while building problem-solving and design-thinking skills. \nWe will have Nerf scrimmages in a safe\, structured environment. The machines will compete in the Rube Goldberg Challenge in May at the Bloomsburg Maker Fest. \nMuseum teams will meet each Wednesday of the month\, starting April 1st through April 29th from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m\, to create all sorts of crazy contraptions for the competitions – and just for fun!
