The BloomCON Hak4Kidz conference is an expo of STEM and critical thinking challenges. The conference is informal and fun with come-and-go stations and exciting workshops that families can experience together.

Train the AI: Ocean Clean up Challenge
Learn how to use AI as a tool! Your challenge is to train an AI to spot the difference between trash and ocean life so you can create a robot to clean up the ocean!
Healthy Eating Hacks with Weis Markets
Join Weis Markets Nutritionists and learn some healthy eating hacks! Eat smart on a budget. Being healthy never tasted so good!
Retro Gaming
Check out our student-made bar-top game console with hundreds of Retro games on it! Enter the silent auction to win this unit!
Coding With Cublets
Cubelets are a great way to familiarize yourself with computer science without a screen! Cubelets are block-based programming. Literally. Each Cubelet cube is a color-coded block of programming. See what you can make!
Programming Challenge with LEGO WeDo
Students will complete a challenge by building a machine with LEGOs and programming it to complete a task.
Hack It Together – Soldering Project
Learn to solder and make a motorized bot! Students will learn the basics of soldering, including an introduction to the equipment, safety, techniques, and fixing mistakes.
Code Combat!
Play a game while coding in Python!
Codes and Ciphers

Tickets
At Hak4Kidz, tickets for all workshops are free of charge. Sign up for them at the registration desk. In order to secure admission to the event, FREE tickets must be reserved for students, parents, and visitors. There is also an option for a swag bag ticket, including many goodies.
