Bloomsburg Children’s Museum Battle in the Burg!

9 am to 4 pm
Participate or watch 1-pound and 3-pound combat robots face off in exciting mechanical matchups as teams, including our own, try to outmaneuver and flip their opponents in fast-paced robot battles.
Battles will take place in our 8’ x 8’ x 4’ arena with a wooden floor and no pit. A 2×2 test box will also be available on site. The building is large, with plenty of room to watch, so bring a friend or two!
Competition information:
• Antweight & Beetleweight — Standard Double Elimination Bracket (1v1)
• Plastic Ants — Round Robin Format
• Beetleweight — 3-minute fights
• Antweight & Plastic Antweight — 2-minute fights
Come cheer on your favorite bots at the Bloomsburg Fairgrounds Industrial Building, grab some food, and try your hand at our kid-friendly battle bots. It’s a fun-filled event sparking the future genius of engineers, curious kids, and the whole family!

Blast off into a universe of imagination, science, and creativity at Fandoms and Fun: Galactic Discovery Day! Young explorers and fans of all things space are invited to celebrate their favorite sci-fi fandoms while discovering the real science behind space travel, planets, and the galaxy beyond.
Throughout the day, participants will take part in hands-on activities, creative maker projects, and exciting experiments inspired by popular space-themed fandoms and real NASA missions. Design your own spacecraft, build alien worlds, test out futuristic technology, and explore the mysteries of the universe through interactive challenges.
Costumes are encouraged, so come dressed as your favorite galactic hero, space explorer, or alien character! Whether you love robots, starships, distant planets, or epic adventures among the stars, this event is packed with out-of-this-world fun for curious minds of all ages.
