In mid-August, KWPA wrapped up its Bloomsburg Children’s Museum Summer Camp outreach with an industry presentation and forestry lesson. The campers learned about carbon storage. They measured trees to estimate how much carbon can be captured in trees and stored in wood products.

Over the course of the summer, KWPA was able to teach campers about the overall wood products sector while focusing on manufacturing, careers, and beautiful carbon-storing wood products. A big thanks to Bloomsburg Children’s Museum for including KWPA in its educational outreach!
