Simple Machines

The Simple Machines exhibit is an interactive and fun way to learn about simple machines. Simple Machines are mechanical devices that are used to change the direction or magnitude of a force. This unique exhibit, designed and built by Museum volunteers, sends a ball through a maze of 6 simple machines 13 feet into the air and is driven by turning hand wheels by visitors of all ages.
