The Zoo Comes to You
Sunday, February 15th
12 – 4:00 p.m.

Get ready for the cutest day of the year! The Bloomsburg Children’s Museum is celebrating Valentine’s Day with an extra-special Zoo Comes to You event filled with fuzzy friends, sweet moments, and hands-on animal fun.

This year, families can enjoy snuggling with a Mini Highland Cow thanks to our friends at Blue Sparrow Farms. Sunset Boarding Stables will also be joining us with their lovable goats for a cozy goat-snuggling experience. In addition to these featured guests, visitors can meet and pet a variety of other fuzzy and affectionate animals throughout the day.

Guests will enjoy an enriching, interactive zoo experience right inside the Museum—perfect for young animal lovers and anyone looking to share a little extra love this Valentine’s season. Animal experts and partner educators will guide families through fun, educational encounters and help create unforgettable photo moments.

2026 BloomCON Hak4Kidz

10- 4:00 p.m.
At Commonwealth University- Kehr Union Center

BloomCON Hak4Kidz is a hands-on, kid-centered technology and creativity conference designed to spark curiosity, problem-solving, and innovation in children and young adults. Created especially for kids and teens, Hak4Kidz introduces participants to the world of hacking—not as breaking into systems, but as learning how things work, how to improve them, and how to think creatively to solve real-world challenges.

Ethical hackers, information security professionals, and educators will lead the experience, sharing the benefits of white hat hacking and responsible technology use. Through engaging guest speakers, interactive workshops, and STEM-focused workstations, attendees will explore topics such as coding, cybersecurity basics, robotics, engineering, and digital design in a supportive, hands-on learning environment.

Participants will have opportunities to work independently and in teams, experiment with new ideas, and learn through trial and discovery. Along the way, attendees can win prizes, expand their knowledge, and explore the exciting world of hacks while building confidence and critical thinking skills. No prior experience is required—BloomCON Hak4Kidz is designed to be accessible and engaging for all skill levels.

General admission tickets are free for this event. A limited number of swag bag tickets are available and include general admission plus a special swag bag.
