Crazy Contraption Club
Crazy Contraption Club
Wednesdays from 5:30-7:00 p.m.
April 1st – April 29th
Students Grade 1-5th
Students in grades 1-5 (students are grouped by age to work on their projects) are invited to design & build a ridiculous, multi-step ‘machine’ to perform one simple task. The machines will compete in the Rube Goldberg Challenge in May at the Bloomsburg Maker Fest.
Museum teams will meet each Wednesday of the month, starting April 1st through April 29th from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m, to create all sorts of crazy contraptions for the competitions – and just for fun! This club promotes STEM concepts and teaches hands-on physics of ‘simple machines’ using humor & scientific persistence.
