Creative Studio: Kindergarten–2nd Grade
Bi-Weekly | Monday, Tuesday & Thursday | 4:30–5:30 p.m.
Join Miss Chittum from the Southern Columbia Area School District for fun, hands-on art projects designed especially for young artists in Kindergarten through 2nd grade.
Each session features a new theme and gives students the chance to explore different art materials, techniques, and creative ideas. Students will build their artistic skills while creating projects they’ll be excited to bring home!
- September 7–10 – Fall Paintings: Apples & Sunflowers
Celebrate the colors of the season! Young artists will explore painting techniques while creating cheerful apple and sunflower artwork inspired by early fall. - September 21–24 – Cozy Hedgehogs & Fall Trees
Get cozy and creative with two fall favorites! Students will create adorable hedgehog artwork and colorful autumn trees while experimenting with texture, shape, and seasonal colors. - October 5–8 – All About Owls
Whooo’s ready to make art? Students will take inspiration from owls as they explore different materials and techniques to create their own one-of-a-kind owl artwork. - October 19–22 – Cozy Fall Cat & Pumpkin
Celebrate the coziest part of fall with cats and pumpkins! Students will create seasonal artwork while exploring color, texture, and their own creative style. - November 2–5 – Architecture-Inspired Art
Art meets architecture! Young artists will explore buildings, shapes, patterns, and design as they create projects inspired by the world of architecture.
No previous art experience is needed—just come ready to create, explore, and have fun!
